Default Hot off the saw....

Little something I made for my grand daughter for her birthday. This is made from Baltic birch Plywood. 1/4" for the pieces and 1/8" backer board. Finished with non-toxic beeswax finish. I hope Bailee will like it.
If I made the "0" really round it would not look hand crafted. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The numbers are supposed to look whimsical...

Made the elephant as a custom order for a lady for her son Ben in California. Ben will be 2 soon.

Mike
That's a great gift! I am sure granddaughter will make good use of it . . . . and who knows, maybe it will stick around until she can give it to her granddaughter!

LOL, I love it!

Great job, Mike......I really like how all of the numbers come together. And they really do look fun and whimsical.

Cool puzzle!

Looks good Mike, glad to see your making dust again. How is the wrist?

The wrist is healing and I'm able to take the splint off for longer periods of time now. i still need to be careful not to over do it though. My cracked rib is healed or so it seems I can breathe freely again. Thanks for asking.

That number set is wonderfully creative. Much more of a challenge than just lining them up. The paint job on the elephant is adorable. I am sure the she will love both of them. Thanks for sharing and glad you're healing up.
