Default i finally listened to Carter and Mike

1/4' Birch...freehand ( freehand was kinda fun") 1st attempt. started upper left corner

The more you do it (freehand cutting), the more you will notice the things that work or don't work for you and you will develop your own style.

Keep it up. Freehand makes it a lot easier and you can be much more creative. I'm anxious to see further stuff.

All locks well except the upper lefthand corner, which is where I started. I is only 5"x7" and the pieces are kind of small. My wife put it together and enjoyed it, a vote of confidence !! I may have used more locks than I had to, but it works well
