Default New sharing an idea.

The Hexiamond Heart. Dear friends, here is puzzle that I have designed. They are call`d the 12 Hexiamonds.(6 equilateral triangles joined edge-to-edge on a triangular grid) You got 4154 solutions but every one of them are deficult. I used to say, inspired of ower danish poet: Hans Cristian Anderson, Jack the Dullard, ore as we call it: Klods Hans. "The one that solve my heart can have it" :-). Yes I also recoment the legendary Kate Jones and here Kadon Interprises. Also PuzzleMist is great. Sorry my english but here it is. Smile and all the best. D.K.

I moved your thread to it's own thread to maximize traffic and get you more responses to your post. It is better to begin your own conversation as opposed to piggy backing in someone else's as your message will become lost.

And I thought some of the puzzles I cut were tough to solve. Welcome, and thanks for a great idea.

Thank you so much for your nice words back. Here is another puzzle. I call it MiniHex step game. You use the divider to make all the steps. The tiles is Polyhexes of order 1-4. (Polyhexes are constructed from unit hexagons joined edge-to-edge on a regular hexagonal grid). You bild all the step puzzles with the 12 polyhexes and they get more and more challencing. Great game for kids but also grown ups. :-). The hardest task is to put the 7 biggest peaces (polyhexes with 4 hexagons) with the divider in nb. six. hole. These polyhexes are made of Mahogny and the frame of laminat wood. Used wood: Black Walnut laminat frame and Cherry for the 12 polyhexes. D.K.
