Default Praying Hands

Even though I having been doing this for a little while I still have to remind myself to go slow and only to apply slight pushing pressure directly in front of the blade, not from the sides as the board is turning. It really shows up if you do it wrong when using 3/4 in. wood. The puzzle pieces do not come apart easily. I did it wrong the first time, found a design flaw the second ( it broke). I guess the third times a charm.
A nurse I work with, wanted me to make a set of praying hands for her father who turned 94. I found the picture on the internet and used Gonçalo Alves for the hands and walnut for the base.
