Here are 4 more puzzles I made and Finished Today!! I love the grain in all of these especially the Bike!! My only question is? How many puzzles should I make for a Holiday Boutique? My first one so all input will be helpful, I figured it was time to get my feet wet. Michael....Indy......... Lucky's Custom Scrolling |

How many do you have done now? You could make a hundred and not sell any, or you could make a hundred and sell out. Keep cutting-- the larger variety you have the more chances you have at having a successful show. How much you going to try and sell them for?

I'm kinda of butting in to this thread, but I'm really into puzzles this year and I use #5s and #7s. Anything smaller or larger just gives me a lot of trouble and sharp pains in the back side.

Lovely puzzles. I use FD-UR #3's for puzzles and have very little space between parts but they fit beautifully. I get a lot of slop with larger blades. Jan |

Nice puzzles. I recently started doing shows and I also have puzzles. To answer your question about quantities I shall have to rely on my limited experience. Recent 2 day show: Saturday sold many puzzles, Saturday night up to midnight cutting more puzzles that I sold out of. Sunday sold one puzzle. LOL My response is I don't have a clue...but seriously I do think the more the merrier. That said you don't want to have so many you can't display them well. If there is a theme to the show you're doing then make sure you play towards that. For example at one show I had a biker rights booth next mine. Cut a few motorcycles puzzles and whosh they were sold. Let us know how it goes. Adding my opinion about blade size to use I find #7 Reverse Double tooth cut quickly and leave a good gap. I used to use a smaller size but I find younger kids (target audience) have less trouble assembling with the larger kerfs. Lord Bless!
