Default Halibut puzzle

This is the second puzzle I've cut from Sue Coccia's calendar. This is for my daughter-in-law. I put modge podge on top - it was streaky - so I put Triple Glaze on top of that. The finish was too thick with all that. But I cut it anyway. I did experiment with thinning Triple Glaze on another piece and I like it best. Two parts gaze to one part water.

That is very nice...So you were able to find triple glaze in a bottle not a spray? Good for you. I'm going to request joannes fabric to see if they can get it in their store for me.

How does it compare in price to mod podge?

Same size container.

Have you tried storing left overs after it has been thinned?

Thanks and the puzzle looks great!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
Shawn, I've fallen in love with Sue Coccia's work - they are fun to cut. This is the second one I've done and I'll probably do all twelve from her calendar.
Mike - the Triple Glaze was at Michaels - both spray and jar. The jars of modge podge and triple glaze where about the same size and price - about $6. I am saving the thinned glaze. I only mixed up the amount that would fit in an empty 35mm film canister. We'll see how it stores. . .
Thanks everyone for all your advice - you've open up a whole new pleasurable experience for me.

How large an area did that amount cover? 35mm container?

Gosh, Mike - maybe 2 20" x 20" puzzles. I really don't know but I do like the consistency of the glaze thinned and the finish when it's dried.

Great looking puzzle Sally and thanks for trying to dilute triple glaze. I usually use mod podge or spray glaze but am definitely going to try the diluted triple.
