Default first figurals

Hi
This is my latest jigsaw, My first try at figurals, for me the jury is still out on them. Room for improvement
1/4" birsh ply print bonded with dry mount Film.
A4 size with 285 pieces

That is some pretty nice cutting! The pic is real nice too. Did you cut this freehand or overlay the pattern? I find that I have to overlay the figurals if I am going to get them in the pic with any success.

I think the figurals are nicely done and appriorate to the puzzle. Personally, I like figurals in puzzles but I don't like planning to put them into puzzles. It's a catch 22. I don't like the work, but I like the result.
