Default Fairy Puzzle

While I am still exploring other types of jigsaw puzzles, I thought I would post the fairies that I like to make. My sister drew the pattern and together we designed the pieces. The stone the fairy is holding is one of the glass sediments used in flower arranging.

That's really cool! The stone really sets the whole thing off. Nice job.

Default Attaching the Stone

Hi Guys!

Thanks for the feedback as of right now the stone is attached using hot glue but it has fallen off a few times so now I am trying T-Glue that I purchased from a craft catalog. We'll see if it works!

shwestley:

Two part epoxy glue works quite well. Scuff the mating surfaces a bit for better grab.

Epoxy is expensive so try buying small amounts.

Hope this is of help.

Nice design job and nice cutting. Hope you find a way to glue glass to the wood. It really makes a big difference in how the puzzle looks to have it.
