| 'Senior' member - no way! | Hi Bruce - that's amazing! i'm not sure which would drive me crazier - trying to make it or trying to solve it ! Just had a look at your home page and you've got me interested in trying to make a puzzle. I checked out a couple of the free plans you have posted and the instructions look very good but I need some advice. What would you suggest as being a good starter for a newbie. i have reasonable woodworking skills but a bit short on patience - LOL! Thanks for posting this one. The video is great and that music sure is lively!

Bruce, Those puzzles are amazing, I'll have to try one someday. I also would like to know which ones would be a good starter puzzle. You are an inspiration thanks for sharing your talent and your puzzles. Dave |

Thanks, lads. If you want to make a puzzle box, and haven't made one before, start with something simple, so you get used to making fairly precise cuts. On the Free plans pages, try the Matchbox or the Modified Matchbox. They're both just simple rectangles, glued together to form a puzzle box. Once you've made one and it works, you could get hooked! Look what happened to me.... Bruce

| That knocks me out of making one Another wicked box Brucio! And just out of curiosity, have you ever made a box, then forgot how to open it? I had a combination lock get the better of me recently (until I found my hack saw )Jerry

Boxes I've made, and can't open without the solution? The Crate. The Door. Impossible Odds. Crypteks. Flatpack. Green Slidey. Brown slidey. So you see, I'm not so clever after all... Bruce

Hey Bruce I just love your puzzle boxes. I printed out the match box from your website and I'm going to give it a try. I hope I can make it just half as good as you do. Thanks for sharing the tips.
