From a calendar, 142 pieces, 11 x 11 1/2. Gift box is from Michael's 3.99. My brother who has no interest in puzzles liked the picture so much he asked me to mount one uncut for display. Not easy to find a second copy of the calendar but I managed.

That's a great puzzle, WG! It never ceases to amaze me how our earlier Americans were able to create that out of a mountainface. I see you live in the northwest. Have you ever been to Mt Rushmore?

I have been to Mount Rushmore Shawn and it is quite a sight. The story of it's creation is fascinating and born of a struggle as so many of our great monuments are. My mother grew up on a homestead in the Black Hills and it was a very hard life. They once took an auto trip to see the sculpture under construction and I believe it was about the only "vacation" she ever knew as a kid and so it had a special place in her life.

That's one interesting puzzle woodgeek! I wouldn't mind giving that one a shot at putting it together. Nice job.

That is one amazing site. We were at Mount Rushmore last fall when all of the trees in South Dakota were in their colorful glory. We fell in love with Black Hills of South Dakota. I would recommend everyone to make this trip.

South Dakota has been calling my name since I was 6 or 7 but I never made the trip. I will.
