What is the groups experience using post cards for puzzles?

I've used greeting card pictures with good success. Postcards should work fine as long as the paper quality is of decent weight. In general, I prefer larger puzzles, but it is nice to occassionally cut one out of something smaller. Good luck! |

I cut Christmas cards into puzzles every year (this year's is pictured below) and I have 55 done for 2009. I've oftenr cut puzzles from post cards, concentrating on pictures that have distinct colors lines I can use as outlines for pieces. People will love them!..... Carter |

Some years ago, I made a couple puzzles for a marketing consultant. They were of the business cards of a couple of potential clients he was romancing. He sent them to the executives, mixed up but with one piece missing from each, along with a note that said something like: "If you want the missing piece to your marketing puzzle, call me....". I think that, in at least one case, it worked. Great phun..... Carter |
