hi i am looking for a manatee pattern that is not to hard cuse i am new and my machine is old as me

You would cut out all the black. Glad you like it. If you would like one with a little more detail i would be happy to help

Yes you are correct, it is a silhouette style not portrait style pattern. If you want it to be a portrait style just add some bridges in the outermost lines of the shapes.
