Default Portrait Help Please

I have never tried to cut a portrait pattern before much less create one from a photo.

Would someone mind to try to make this photo into a pattern I could try to cut?

Don, What software are you using to make portrait patterns? I tried using photoshop elements and was very unhappy with my efforts. Any guidance?

JP, I use a combination of Gimp and Inkscape, both are free downloads. There is a good tutorial here:
