Default Help finding Snowflake patterns

Hello Everyone
Well it wont be long and will getting ready for Christmas. Evelyn told me that she would like me to make snowflakes for her job. I need to make a lot so I really dont any thing really fancy or that will take a lot of time to cut out. I've look in the pattern vault but I did'nt see any thing. If any one has or knows were I can get patterns for snowflakes it would be great I need to make 150+ I plan on using 1/8" or 1/4" BB plywood. I have a feeling my Bowl and Vase making is going to be put on hold soon.

Dan think about making them out of paper....I bought a pad of white artist drawing paper, its thicker than regular printing paper, and stacked 40 of them between 1/8 bb ply. They hold up very well, took me about 2 hrs. We have a screened in porch, and I put up glass panels in the winter. It is not heated, but I just use scotch tape to tack up the snowflakes and only 2 fell off last winter. Easy to take down and store to reuse over and over. Photo posted. Google paper snowflakes, you should find many free patterns. Just a thought.
Here's one site offering some free patterns for personal use, and i don't think it would be wrong if you did decide to make them out of wood using the free patterns. http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/dstredulinsky/home.html

White business card stock works real well for the snow flakes. Steve

You can find some beautiful heavy paper at any craft store that sells scrapbooking paper. I found white with silver sparkles that would really look nice for snowflakes.

Thanks for the patters and tips. I've found some patterns that Evelyns likes and I think I'll try making some out of heavy paper or card stock. I've never done stack cutting using paper, what the best way to hold the stack together between the bb ply wood? I think paper will be the better way to go wil the number I need to make, Evelyn thinks 200+ it wont cost as much even with 1/8" bb plywood it would run about a fair amount. Any tip you can give me for making the stack cutting easy will great.

I wrap the stack in tape..blue painters tape won't stick to the edges as bad...show us pics in progress if you have the time..Have phun as carter says..LOL

I wouldn't stack over a bout 3/4" inch thick..but that's just me..

200 yikes!

Dan when I stack cut paper snow flakes I sandwich a good amount (40 or 50) depending on the intricacy of pattern, and thickness of paper, between 1/8 bb, or the cardboard that is on back of a notepad, then glue on my pattern, and wrap as tight as you can both ways with packing tape. As usual, do inside cuts first. Eager to see what you make. MAKE SURE YOUR BLADE IS SQUARE TO TABLE BEFOR STARTING.
