Would someone make me a pattern of the A-10. My son is retireing from the Air Force next month. He was a A-10 pilot assigned to the 353 rd Panthers, Tactical Fighter Sq. I would like to make him a plaque for his retirement with the 353 Panthers Tactical Fighter Sq included on top and bottom of the A-10. He was one of the firist A-10 Sq to protect our ground troops in the Gulf War. Thanks for your help. Larry |

Hi Larry... Maybe you could supply some pictures to give some of the designers some ideas about what you want.

Here is you a start. If you have your son's insignia I will try and come up with something for you. Anyways, here is you a starter, if someone wants to take this and add to it, go ahead, you have my permission just post it here so I can see the finished piece.

Wow Muleskinner, you put that together quick and love the layout you chose. I may jusy have to take a copy of that and add to my 'to do eventually' list just based on coolness alone! Thanks for sharing.

WOW!!! Just now saw your input Muleskinner. OUTSTANDING!! I just sent Chris a image of my son's A-10 patch from Desert Storm. I'll sure will put yours together and cut for him. I just hope Chris can make me a pattern of the original patch. These will make a great retirement gift for him. He loved his A-10. He came back from one mission with just one engine, that A-10 got him back to base safe. What can I say. No words can express how much I appreciate your time and talents to help a proud dad honor his son with a hand made gift. I'll post when completed. Thanks again Muleskinner Larry |

Here is what I came up with. Hope this will be to your liking. Also, great job on the pattern "skinner". Larry tell your son thank you for his service, and it was my honor to help you honor him.

Chris, Your pattern is great, I can't wait to get started on making this plaque Question???? How do I print out your pattern so that it comes out larger than the size of a stamp and not printing the the whole thread. The same thing happended with Muleskinners patterns. .They are all the size of a stamp and prints the shole thread That never happened the last time I printed a designers pattern. Has somthing changed in printing patterns in a larger size? Help!! Also, I just found a image of the shoulder patch for the 353rd TFS Panthers. Would you be good enough to also make a pattern of his sq patch? Just in case you would, I've attached the image. Thank you for your time in designing this pattern for me. God Bless. Speaking of God, this site has a lot of people with God Giving Talent and careing to help others. Love this site. Larry |
