Ok, it sounds like what you're describing is fretwork, not a silhouette. I just took Kevin's and played with it. Hope that's ok Kev.

Ezno, the photo of your friend looks like a younger version of a guy we know here in the US as Dr.Phil .
Or, at least to me he does.And the patterns are very welly done.
