Default posting pictures

I took some pictures of some of my friends cars and they want me to do some plaques out of them but my pictures are file Bitmap or bmp how do I change them to jpeg pictures.

I have Adobe Photoshop, is how I do all mine, unless someone has a better and faster way..

Irfanview is free and does a good job. You can make patterns from .bmp files though so you really don't need to convert them.
