problems with gimp - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

Hi all:
I have had gimp for awhile now and did pretty good with it until I got the upgrade to 2.8 I lost the tools window and can not get it back the window with the paint brush and zoom and all the rest and i can't size the brush or change the color so i deleted the whole file and reuploaded it but it comes up the same when i start gimp only the main window comes up and not the flaoting window with all the tools I hope i am making some sort of since here
and hope someone can help me it will be most appreciated

Look in the "WINDOWS" tab at te top, and look in "Recently closed docks" they should be in there. If not let me know. Don
