Exclamation what to use for merchandise sold?

I was wandering what you use to give the merchandise to the customer after there purchase? Like crosses, 6" x 6" candle holders and ornaments, etc... Plastic bags, paper, etc.

Hi Michael, I ordered some of the t-shirt style plastic thank you bags. They seem to work well. You can even go green with those and get the recycled material ones. I would like to take it a step further and get something that is biodegradable in the future. You can get the plastic bags at Cosco and several other places like them or online. Steve

Hi Micheal, I would suggest boxes over bags. We all know some of the things we make are a little on the fragile side, and I feel are better protected in a box versus in a bag.Keep that in mind as the after Christmas sales start. Thats a great time to pick up varying sizes of boxes, like the shirt size gift boxes, which would work fairly well to put a lot of the things in. Paper Mart Packaging Store supplies bags, boxes, containers, ribbons, ties, cushioning, paper, fills, plastic, films, wrap, strapping, shipping material, tape, fabric is a great place online to get boxes, bags, and a bazillion other packaging things as well. You have to buy them in quantities there, but they are fairly reasonable.

I buy pizza boxes in bulk and find them very clean looking. They stack up nice also when I'm packing it in. If the customer is buying for a gift it makes it easier to wrap.

Guess I am cheap - I use left over shopping bags from Pick-n-save. The piece is wrapped in either tissue paper (which I get cheap from work) or in a thin foam sheet (which I get free from work)

I use plastic shopping bags, can't use recycled ones anymore because not many shops provide them now. I buy mine by the thousand online.
Usually get some Xmas decorated ones for this time of year and some solid colour so that the kids can't see the toy inside that "Father Xmas" has just bought.

While at Costco, buy the bulk package of white tissue paper. I wrap all my items in the tissue paper to protect them somewhat and then put them in a bag.

my ornaments are all flat and not too fragile. So I package them in a clear ziplock sandwich bag. This is done so that others can see the ornaments as the buyer shops....
For the larger items, I use white paper lunch bags. I like the cleaner look of the white vs. brown paper.
For anything that doesn't fit in a lunch bag, I have some plain t-shirt type plastic bags that I had purchased years ago.
