Default Craft Show

Did a craft show on Saturday, and with my luck it rained, at least I made a little something,it was a small show, and I was the only scroller and woodworker there. I am really getting tired of these people with jewlery, and flea market crap, and these people don't even make the things themselves. so next year I'am cutting down the amount of shows I do. The problem is there are no juried shows in this area. Edward

Not arguing, but I have a tough time believing a city the size of Philadelphia has NO juried shows...........

G'day Ed,
At least you made a few Bob. I'd hazard a guess and say the weather probably had more to do with lack of sales than the other stalls.
On the bright side mate, you have no competition.

One of the premier craft shows in the country is in Philly. Show Application :: Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show

Sugarloaf also offers one

There's a lot more in the area and not too far down the road in both Delaware and Maryland. I was invited to a couple in Cherry Hill, NJ and Camden, NJ as well but I didn't feel like doing the 180 mile drive. You just need to do some searching.

Kevin,

Do you still have any of the information on the shows in Cherry Hill and Camden? I would think twice about the Camden show (bad neighborhoods), but the Cherry Hill area is an area that I have thought about trying to get into. My wife grew up in that area and it is only about 45 minute drive from where I live. If you still have any of that information and don't mind sharing it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Richard,
I'll have to dig through my old e-mails. I know I got a couple in the regular mail but I didn't hang on to them. I'm not sure if I still have the e-mails but I'll take a look.

Richard, Sugarloaf does a huge craft show in Somerset every year (I wouldn't drive to Camden either and it's a heck of a lot closer then 180 miles, "bad neighborhoods" is an understatment).
