Default I must make great stuff

Well' it's official, My daughter informed that even Americans come to my market stall to buy stuff.

The Kicker is, the lady insisted on buying my Oregon (Douglas Fir) Tissue box to take back to America.
Now that's a real souvenir. ROFLMAO

Last time I took the kids to Disney, we went to the "World Showcase" which is a huge area where "Countries" are lined up next to each other. Elements of different cultures and architecture are on display, and so are all the great foods. Of course, instead of Japanese, French or Morroccan Cuisines, the kids opted for plain ol' hotdogs in the US of A!

Now that's funny. I guess that the old saying is true...

thanks people for the compliments, but this was really a "Tongue in Cheek" Post.
My daughter put me up to it. Well that's my story

I just had to laugh when she told me. Someone travelling thousands of miles and taking home a piece of timber that came from there in the 1st place. it tickled my warped sense of humour. The box never even had an "Aussie" cutting on it, it was a Robin.

Nin said she explained to the lady that the timber came from America. She had the story a little wrong, saying that one of my mates had sent it to me, it was actually from some underground supports from an old mine workings. The box did have my stamp in it saying "Handmade in Kalgoorlie-Boulder WA"

The main thing is that everybody was happy, her with the purchase, me with the cash, and Nin with the story LOL

Morning John - with quality workmanship like yours who cares where the wood came from. People buy what they are attracted to and the lady was obviously attracted to your tissue box. Yep, its a bit ironic and it would have give me a smile but I'd be happier that she bought something she really liked. Kudos to you mate!

That means you will need to update all of your logo's to include "World Famous"
