Default Finally set up a webstore

Well, I finally got around to recreating my online store for finished products. I had so many folks asking me at my last 2 shows if I had a website I decided I'd better git er done. I'm just using ecrater as it's free but at least it gives my business a web presence. I've still got about a zillion products to photograph and upload but at least it's a start.

I like the look of it. The only thing I might suggest is some directions to use the random pics..I didn't know how to navigate until I just started clicking and noticed the pics change. Really well done and the shopping cart seems to work well.

Beautiful job, Kevin! I'll stop by often and check out how it's growing.

What is the red backing on your Oriental Peacock and how is the wood attached to it? Very nice!

Very nice Kevin, but I agree with Mike on the random pics.... It might cost you some sales the way it is. And I'm not nit picking, but did you notice below your signature that the K & J Woodcrafts is cut in half ? .Just wanted to mention it. And the peacock is just TOO COOL! Thanks again for sharing that!

Good luck on sales!

Jerry

Kevin, I like the website. It's something that I've thought a lot about doing myself but I just haven't taken the time to do it. Good luck with it. I'll keep checking in. David

Looks good. I agree with the others observations...got lost in the random pics

Your work is awesome. I don't know if I could do hundreds of holes and then make cuts....ARG!!! But I have been thinking about doing some less intense fret work for shows.

BTW enjoy your patterns also! Top notch as well!

I WAITED patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry.
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear
And will trust in the Lord.

Thanks for the comments all. I was able to fix the signature (apparently there's a limit to the verbage before it gets cut off). Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the random pics. But for free, there's not much I can compare it to. I wish the categories selection was more prominent or that it listed the categories with different pics. There may be a way but I haven't found it yet.

Great job Kevin.

One thing I would recommend is to get an easy to remember URL and forward it to the store (it's minimal setup and once you do it - it's done).
