I was wandering where I could get a stamp made with my name and stuff on it? It is time for me to start marking my projects. I hope it's not too expensive but let me know anyway. Thanks and God Bless, Michael......Indy......... |

You can have them made at almost any office supply store and there are numerous places online to order them.

I saw one just today in the Woodcraft catalog...... Personalized Branding Iron for 2 or 3 lines up to 20 characters 2 line is $99.99 3 line is $119.99 Another model has "Handcrafted by" on the first line and you add your name on the 2nd line for $89.00 electric model and $69.99 non electric mode. I'm sure there are many other places to get one, but these are the ones I saw. Hope it helps.

I got mine at Office Depot about two years ago and I've used it a lot. It is going to need some ink soon but so far I haven't had to put any ink in it. I think I paid about twelve bucks for it. David

Hi-------I used a personal branding iron for years then it gave up the guost so I just changed my method of identifying myself by simply using a permanent thin writing felt pen and I think the customers seem to like that even better as a more personal way to say just who made it--------and since then have always only used the felt pen-------------just my suggestion -------also saves a fair amount money------------happy scrolling--------Tom

I was in JoAnn the other day in the stamps and scrapbooking aisle and found a pre-made stamp that said "Handmade by" with plent of room to sign and date with a fine Sharpie inside. It is a fairly ornate stamp, about the size of a credit card. I just got one of their moderately expensive "dry" stamp pads and then always put a coat of clear lacquer over the stamp to prevent rubbing off. (Also protects the Sharpie)

I use a Dremel engraver to put my name and year and glue on a certificate of authenticity if there is room.
