That's good news Richard. Do you use the saw much or is just for decor? Where is Excelsior Springs located from Peculiar?

Merle, Excelsior Springs is just off the North East Corner of Kansas City, actually 10 miles west of Liberty, Missouri. A really neat town that sets in the Valley at a junction of Fishing River and is surrounded by steep hills, winding roads that is remenicent of South Missouri and Arkansas. The town developed around the natural Springs and prospered as a health resort until the 1960's. We are located in the historic district where a transformation is taking place that will make Excelsior Springs one of the top Arts & Crafts destinations. I suspect you are a past customer of Peculiar Fretworks. Peculiar, Missouri is about 50 miles away on the South side of Kansas City. Yes, I use the saw all the time, it is good for drawing in customers but it is also a really good saw. It is a reproduction of the 1876 Barnes scroll saw that is made in Raymore, Missouri. Of course I also have an RBI 20" saw that I use on larger works. Thanks Richard Preator Arts on Broadway / Peculiar Fretworks Last edited by rpreator; 07-14-2009 at 06:11 AM. Thanks Richard, I used to to stop at the Flying J every time we went to KC for anything so I am quite familiar with the location of Peculiar.
