I just spotted this here and wanted to respond. Ernie was the founder and president of our scroll saw club. Unfortunately he passed away almost a year ago. He was an absolute master scroller and an inspiration to me. He had a real passion for scrolling and especially for finding, preserving and sometimes re-creating old fretwork patterns. His personal collection of fretwork clocks is something to behold. His contribution to the scrolling community is profound and he is sorely missed.
