Default Holiday 2009 Issue #37

Another great job on the magazine, I have looked thru it several times. I think there is something for everyone. Also a nice article on Carter Johnson and his puzzles (not because I'm a midwesterner), just a nice job. As always I look forward to the magazine. Thanks again!

So here I am today getting ready for a 2 day show this week-end. Went to the bank, Office Depot, everything almost packed and ready to load the van, just a few more things to do and then.......I go to my mailbox and there it is The Holiday Issue!!! Uh oh, I'm in trouble already! Yep, saw the Monkey Business Puzzle and just HAVE TO HAVE IT on my table tomorrow. Running downstairs now, making copies on my copier as I type, to make as many as I can!! Shannon & BobD, you have to stop doing this to me!!! Makes me crazy Another great issue!!!

I'm curious. I just stopped by my local Borders today to try my luck and see if the Holiday issue might be there and they had last years on the stand. I really need to renew my subscription, was hoping someone would do it for my birthday; unfortunately that didn't happen!! There is a new 2009 edition right or am I missing something?

The newest issue for 2009 has a Santa face on the front cover. The magazine has aslo reprinted the special edition that was the premium for the 2 year subscription - that is the one that is on the news stands now.

The regular Holiday issue has shipped. I received my copy a few days ago, which was several weeks sooner than I expected. I imagine that Shannon and Bob will transition over to that issue on the website any day now, maybe with the new format that makes it easier to access articles and videos.

One funny thing I noticed about the Holiday Issue (I received mine yesterday). There's an add for Coyote Software with a "sample pattern." What's funny is that the pattern is loaded with floaters. You would think they would at least put a cuttable pattern in the add. Hehehehehe.
