8 months, 24 days and several hours of intense labor near the end. He now stands 6'4" and is getting his diploma from college in the spring of 2010...and he isn't completed yet...LOL
Sorry the devil made me do it....

My longest woodworking project was about 90 hours of work. It is my truck, I didn't keep track of actual time spent but I estimate it to be that long.

well Bob, my Largest project is still in the making. not that it took this long to cut, but just let it lye while I made my new shop. and then got waylay ed on some new hobby's. 2 years so far, but only maybe 20 hours in cutting . still have some to go. but I guess the most time I have spent on one project is only 16 hours so far on a finished project. milling the wood, sanding, gluing, and cutting, and finishing, and that was the Grand Geneva clock. of course it warped, so had to flatten the wood. before cutting. still about 16 hours. now just ask me how long to learn to sharpen knives, HEHE. hours, and hours. your friend Evie

I'm assuming you're asking about the biggest scrolling project and actual hours to complete not how long it took me to get around to actually finishing it? the longest I've ever spent on a single scrolling project was 36 hours. I have stuff I've been working on for a couple of years but only an hour here and an hour there, hehehehe.
Mike, I like your answer too, hehehehe.

My longest project was just about 100 hours. That was "Tailgate Party" - the custom intarsia of 3 lhasa apsos in the pick up bed.

Now..how to translate that for the poll?

Building my boat took me 10,500 hrs but I guess that does not count. The scrollsawn clocks would run at around 100 hours.

Since you didn't specify scrolling, mine was my kitchen cabinets last year. Working weekends and after work they took me almost a month. Scrolling, it took me nearly a month cutting "Judy's Jungle" that Sue Walker designed for me. Pat
