One for hubby and one for a gift exchange within the family. We get together but not for gifts. We enjoy each other's company, act silly and play games.

Are we talking holiday "themed" projects or projects we intend for gifts? Either way, the answer is more than 10.

I have already done 4 nativity scenes (not a one alike!), beau-coup ornaments, gift boxes, sleighs, rein deer, toys/puzzles etc. for shows that are coming up. Any left-overs just may wind up being gifts.

Making desk name plates for several in the family, house signs with family crests, welcome signs, toys and puzzles and other assorted goodies for gifting.

Also have an order for a couple of cedar chests for a friend to give her daughters (not a lot of scrolling on these I admit but my woodworking falls into just one area of listing in any forums.) Had a customer approach me also looking for a desk that may want me to make them as another gift. As the holidays approach, it seems my wife is telling more and more customers that I can do just about anything with wood. She is raising the bar for me everyday by the looks of it!

Well, I don't keep count, but guaranteed it's more than ten.

The war office has already tea leafed 1/2doz toys for nieces and nephews, and has them all wrapped. She is taking them to Perth with her next week, for the "Big Smoke" Nieces and Nephews.

We've still got the Kalgoorlie Grand kids, and I haven't even started on the adults Oh for 25 hours a day

I have to go with more than ten since I have added 2 more fairs to my list.
My customer base wants new stuff every year. As far as personal gifts go that is always a big ?

At least 10 large ones, and uncountable ornaments and bookmarks, many stack cut in groups of three or more. My biggest problem is finding time to put a finish or paint them as my brain dictates. Not to mention a flock of puzzles for my granddaughter.

Well, I'm working on 3 dollhouses - two for my two granddaughters, one to give to a needy child - and of course, I'll come up with lots of other ideas for gifts for the rest of the family. I'm a bit of a grinch when it comes to spending a fortune at Christmas. I can't see the use in it. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas - especially the Christ part - but I never go in debt over it. I'll make trivets, or cooking spoons and spaghetti forks out of huge chunks of bamboo, or I'll get busy on my other reciprocal machine, (sewing) and make clothes - everybody on my list gets something.

And, oh yes, I'm a recycler as well! I picked up those huge pieces of bamboo off the side of the road before brush pickup day. I've also been known to stop when someone has thrown out a ceiling fan, and take the blades off. I carry tools in my trunk! Fan blades are made of good quality plywood. It's free this way! I've also been known to pick up small pieces of furniture and do some decorative painting on them. Some have turned out very cute.
