Ok - after all the fuss about the magazine being out, then it being the wrong one, I'm surprised no one has said they've gotten the right one! It's on the grocery store shelves now!! Saw it this evening while shopping, but the person doing the magazines places it in the back, so I moved it to the front of the shelf! lol

I've been making the teddy bear ornaments by Kathy Wise. Have 3 ready to glue up, but my fingers are sore from sanding, so that will have to wait until tomorrow. Then I need to find the wood burner to finish them off. Will try and get some pictures before I give them all away!

Theresa

You know, I recieved a few copies of this in the mail just yesterday, and wasnt really sure if it was on the newsstands yet or not. Its definately a nicely laid out collection of projects, theres a little bit of everything in it for all skill levels.Projects that will take a few minutes, to projects that will keep you going for quite a few hours, and that teddy bear you are referring to Theresa.... hes just so cool isnt he? i was going to post a good full review (well my opinions anyways) after a few have recieved their issue, and after I've had a chance to really read it instead of just thumbing through it quickly.I did read the editors column right away, and it really shows that Fox Chapel puts out its magazine's dedicated to its readers, and even leaves ya with a chuckle if youve been on this forum for a while. Many great patterns, and another pleasant thing when flipping through the issue, theres so many familiar names throughout it! Thank you Fox Chapel!!!
And Theresa... dont forget to save me one of those cute lil bears!

Maybe Bob could run a contest like finding the fox but going to the last person to get their magazine in the mail. It might make the wait a bit less frustrating.

Wouldn't you know it. I being the one who started the fuss before ( as Theresa mentioned) have not gotten my issue yet. Is the Fox withholding my copy for being bad........??

Do I get one Bob??

Ok, time to go back to the mailboxes....I'll bring my umbrella for the sun and the rain coming out way from Gustav. I might be there a while.

Just returned from Lowe's with my copy. A lot of planning to do to figure what to do first.

A special thanks to all the designers who posted in this issue. I won't get to all of them, but they are all beautiful.

And thanks to Fox Chapel for not bagging it. Made standing in line to buy it a little easier!
