I only have one going at a time...well two if I count the lion intarsia that I started forever ago and got frustrated with. It's sitting on a shelf waiting for me to re-cut several sections.

Turning - only one - on the lathe until finished.

Carving - usually only one not counting finishing. I hate finishing and save as many as possible and get it done in one big batch.

Scrolling - usually only have one that I am actually cutting. If I have decided to torture myself and attempt intarsia again, it will be in process while scrolling fret patterns. I often cut a bunch, and sand them watching the news or at lunch at work. Finishing - like the carving - I may have 30 pieces waiting to be finished - I HATE finishing.

Anything else in my life - mostly in process - partial stuff scattered every where.

You asked...I counted. At this point in time I have five.

1. Shoppiere clock (This one is gonna take some time)
2. Quilt blocks (Set of four requested by my Mom who is a quilter
3. Duck Marionette puppets (7 for the 7 grandkids)
4. Rocky Mountain Stallion from Creative Woodworking & Crafts March 2007 issue (This one looks just like my granddughter's horse so she is getting it for Christmas)
5. Small fretwork clock (Had to make something that I could finish. Needed to see a finished project in order to keep the momentum on the other thing I was doing)

So I guess thye answer is several projects at any given time.

Its a good thing it simply says "more then 10", thats all I can say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant count high enough, not counting all the 4H projects in the works sitting all over down there this time of the year!

Are you sure of that Dale? Ten nimble fingers that make magic on the saw are capable of counting to 1023.

As for lateness, I just noticed the new poll after returning. My vote goes to "More than 10" too, as each of mine takes months to go from beginning cutting to a finished piece.

Wow, what a question. I once figured out that I have enough projects on the list of must do's to keep me busy for 300 years or so.

Answer; more than one but less than a million. Right now I have 20 pictures ready to glue on wood for puzzles, 5 ready to glue on wood for other types of projects, 1 in the design stage for a friends retirement at the end of the month (good luck), 12 glued on wood ready to start cutting, 22 (all stack cut up to 7 copies) cut but not sanded, and 12 in the painting or finishing stages.

Not to mention that I still have to do some finish work in my daughters basement (about 4 days worth) and complete the rewireing and insulation of her garage so she can actually park a car in it this winter; my gardens need constant care; my wife has plans for us for the weekend; etc. etc. etc. as the king said.

I'm not good in this realm. Projects that need to get done get finished before anything else. When I have a lot of small things to do I often prep way more than I need and I'm left with many in various stages of production. I probably have 5 different projects on the side (with some as many as 15 ready to work on). I have 2 or 3 things started that I need to get finished and about 4 other projects that need to get started all together. Arrgg - thanks for the torture (I mean, reminder)!

I just ordered 1 pattern this morning; 10 pasted ready to drill; 3 drilled ready to cut; 2 in the cutting stage; 2 that need to be sanded and finished; and 5 that are half finished.
1 of the patterns that I have pasted I think I'm going to alter before cutting it out.
I think I have a good case for AADD.
