Fantastic magazine, I love it! I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss an issue. I only wish that it came out more often... Continue

Default Back on track.

I like to buy magazines at the store. and when SSW stoped showing up I thought it had gone belly up. I found this site while looking for a new saw. Anyway I have now subscribed for 2 years and also went to look at the back order issues and low and behold your package deal includes all the issues I missed. I am impressed, but the point of this note was if you go to a monthly cycle I will sign up on day one. This is the only wood magazine that I make at leaste one thing in each issue.They sit in my file cabinet beside my desk. Most others are in a box in my train room. Please keep up the great work.
Alan,

Aww shucks Alan - thanks for the kind words.

Where did you used to purchase your copy on the newsstand? I know a few stores stopped carrying them - just wondering...

Newsstand sales are so very weird... I still don't understand the logistics... It's all based on sell-thru rate and 60% of the copies get shredded. It makes me sad - but those smarter than I tell me it makes good business sense - and hey look - we have added a subscriber and new message board member from those newsstand copies - so maybe there's some truth to it!!

Shanon;
Most of the stores here that sell magazines were selling this mag. So when they all stopped selling them I thought you guys had shut down.Untill I saw this web site. But then last week I found the Summer 08 in a grocery store!
More to the point I ordered your back issue set on May 25. I am sure it said 4-6 weeks for delivery. This week just got postponed, a box came in the mail just now. They are here allready. Thanks for the great service.
