| Message Board shutdown planned The boards are going to be down again this Sunday (Apr. 27, 2008) for a while. Now that we are on the new server, we can update the forum software. We're operating on a relatively old version of the software; the new versions offer much better protection from spammers, and more security from hackers.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but in the long run, its to everyone's benefit.

| Hi Bob,
Good luck on Sunday. Hopefully, it will go as smoothly as the server upgrade.
Cheers.

| I know once I get over the shock I will be able to adjust to normal life once again.
Heck I should spend the weekend in the shop anyway.
Thanks for the heads up!

| "the new versions offer much better protection from spammers,"
Too bad for Tor and anyone else from Hawaii. Spam is like a delicacy over there.

| If this update affects me like the previous one, no apologies are needed. I didn't even feel a hiccup the last time around. I suppose that means I should pat you on the back eh? Terrific job and thanks for getting us updated, up to snuff, in the "now" .... it's always been a great site and to think you're gonna make it even better ...
*standing ovation*
Andy

| Geez, I checked the board so late today that I must have missed all of this excitement.
