I'm starting this as a separate thread because I don't want it to get lost in the other thread. I had a call this morning asking me to explain what the shelf board is and where you can find it. I've found it in most major building suppliers (Lowes and BORG primarily). It is basically a pine board made up of a bunch of 2"-wide strips glued together. It is found in the shelving boards section (in the same place you find the laminated shelf boards and things like that) NOT in the area with the other pine lumber. If you can't find it, ask the store associates; they should know what you mean. It kinda reminds me of a cutting board, but much longer. Bob
