Well, I didn't renew in time so I have to wait for the bookstands to get it as I don't want a duplicate copy (like my last renewal) but rest assured I will get my renewal in on time for the Special August Issue!! As for novelty cuttings. I do one craft show and for the last 2 years there is a guy who does wooden Bowties. Now, we all know if I did a wooden bowtie, I would carry the darn things back home. But not him, he sells 3 or 4 almost everytime! GO FIGURE!!

Hi All,

I liked the magazine as well.

My favorites were the SpyPod and the Wine bottle holder.

Always looking forward to receiving this mag in the mail.

I have about a 1 3/4 hour train ride to work. I usually like to carry about 6 - 8 of the mags from the SSWC collection in my bag. I always laugh to myself as I see people glance over at what I am reading and have a perplexed look on their face.

Keep up the great work.

Am always inspired by the photos of the talented folks and their projects.

Cheers.

Chris

Default Renewal

Betty -

Make sure you tell them which issue you want your renewal to start with - otherwise it will pick up where you left off and you'll get a duplicate.

What topics would you guys like to see covered in the new Sawdust department?

Thanks, Shannon, I will. That's what I really really like about this mag - the personal service! Nothing takes its place!

Roger - I'm afraid you have me at a loss... There are so many ideas that cross my desk - can you give me a refresher on what the mystery pattern is all about? (And my memory is NOT what it used to be! - I'll blame it on the kids - they have aged me prematurely!)

Dale - Obviously we can't offer the pattern for the Duck's Unlimited logo - but wanted to show that you can really personalize it with whatever your interests are, like Sue did with the horse heads. If her friend has a stable where she rides, she could scroll that logo into one of the panels.
