Thanks Jim, it was a challenge for sure.

Started off simple and 7 prototypes later we got a spypod.
I do have some fancy designer firewood for my efforts too

The problem doesnt seem to be finding new ideas it seems to be discarding the ones that wont work.
I also wish that sometimes I could sit and think about nothing but my chemistry doesnt work that way.

I think ideas are like a big jigsaw puzzle, when the pieces dont fit I just pull out the scissors and make them fit

Ahhhh.... so you lay in bed at night twisting pieces around in your mind.... I have the same problem. The biggest issue is when I get it solved, I fall asleep and have problems remembering the solution in the morning.

Keep a notepad by the bed

Actually one of the tougher issues to resolve on the spypod was the swivel for the lenses. It hit me when I was driving to the grocery store. I pulled over imediately and scribbled the solution on the shopping list.

Who would have thought I needed to pick up axel pins with my milk???bb

Hi All,
Am I missing something simple? I can't seem to find the pattern for Layer 5 in the SpyBot article.

Thanks.

Chris

Hi Chris,
Layer 5 is identical to Layer 3. They should be stack cut.

Way to go Carl. I was actually eyeballing the article in my store bought copy of the Summer issue. Well done.
