Would you buy and scroll the brass? Maybe 1/16" or 1/8" BB would be sufficient.

I like the idea of a pin or some other recognizable piece. Even if I don't get a chance to wear it to an event, it is fun just to get it.

As for making them, Janette, I am afraid that it may be like one of my biggest downfalls - "... I will get to it as soon as I finish this one last project ...." I still have to start Toni and Sue's challenge!! ahhhh.

I'm all for it, I collect pins and a SSW pin would be a great addition.
