| Magazine availability Theres been a lot of guys i work with wanting to pick up a copy of this issue problem is theres only 1 place that has it and that would be Lowe's yet the other mag. is everywhere at all the groceries stores and wal-mart.
I was wandering if it was like this all over the country or just in my neck of the woods, and is there a reason for it. just wandering

| It's funny - our local Woodcraft and Barnes and Noble both carry the magazine, but the other one can't be found anywhere. Guess it all depends on the area and who you can talk into getting it. |

| In my area there is nothing. I have to drive about 90 minutes away to see any decent magazines. That includes the two scrolling ones. That is why I got myself a 2 year subscription. Hint, hint!!!

| Do you have a Books A Million or Borders? They both carry it but only in the larger stores. AC Moore used to carry it but no longer. It seems they always sold out so have no idea why they stopped.

| I am not sure, but I think part of the reason behind the recent name change (from Scrollsaw Workshop to Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts) was to make the magazine appeal to a larger crowd, and to help it get put on the shelves of more places, like Wal-mart's and bigger grocery chains.Wal-mart here in WI still dont carry it, but they do carry the CWWC magazine. Shannon and a Fox Chapel marketing person (possibly Sandy???) explained to me exactly how the magazines make it to the shelves of the big chain stores when we visited Fox for the open house. I cant recall all the details from that conversation, hopefully Shannon or Bob can shed some light on it. As for me, although I am a subscriber, and will be for a loooong time to come, I still mention in Walmart that they should carry SWWC.It does fall on deaf ears though, as some other outfit comes in there to stock the magazines.
