Default Finally Bit the Bullet

G'day all,
After many suggestions and a bit of prompting by members I finally did it. Dug deep and shelled out for a 2 year subscription.
I did order and receive a package of past issues and was very pleasantly surprised with the content of the magazine.
Most mags, seem to be just vehicles for advertising, not this one.

Now I'll have something the look forward to every 3 months or so.

I did the same thing John. Seems trying to find the magazines in the stores here is almost impossible!

Money well spent, John. I really enjoy getting mine and wish it was a monthly instead of bi-monthly. The same goes for WOOD mag. I have tried to get my brother to convince them to switch to monthly but he is just the tools editor so he can't do much about it.

G'day Doug,
Nope, nothing pertaining to scroll sawing in particular. We have a couple of general Wood working mags.
I'm not blowing my own trumpet, but I find, being a cabinet maker by trade, they don't offer much new. They are more or less vehicles for advertising and a place for blokes to show off their exotic creations.

Boy, that sounds like I'm a pompous galah . What I'm trying to say is, in my opinion they are not worth the money.

Same here John,
I also broke down and got the 2 yr subscription. I was waiting to see if I got it for Christmas and when I did not, I could not wait any longer. I did not get the back issue, but I might since I have a birthday next month.

G'day Brad,
You've got to come straight out and ask, women ain't no good at taking hints

I got the package, I think it was 13 volumes for $30.00. It's good value and entertainment.
