I heard about this article some time ago through the grapevine. I cant wait to get the magazine and read the article.
There is not a lot of information available on Gothic tracery.
This looks like a fun project and a great starting point for some advanced intricate work.

Carl it is a very good article! The possibilities with these designs are endless. The whole issue is very good, even though I am still looking for the fox!
I'm sure your issue is on its way!

I met Bruce at the Fox open house. He's a really nice guy, and I was amazed at all the knowledge this man has stored inside him. I'm glad some of that info is getting spilled out via the magazine. Now I'm really looking forward to the issue, it better arrive soon! Dale

I really like the tracery! Very delicate and ornate. I found a site that explains how to make your own as well: www.newyorkcarver.com
Bruce, you are very talented. I look forward to seeing more of your designs.

Default Gothic Tracery

Thanks to everyone on this and other threads for your positive comments on the gothic tracery designs. This is my first foray into pattern designing for scrolling and I am pleased that some of you find these patterns to be of interest.

When/if any of you scroll some of these designs, I would appreciate comments on "cuttability" or any other aspects of fabrication. Also, I can make more of these types of patterns, but would like to know if more or less complexity of design would be desired.

Thanks agan,

Bruce P.
