Default Ultimate Scrolling Patterns

I just picked up volume 1 at the newstand and would recommend it, especially to new scrollers looking to get started. It has a little of everything inside its cover: fretwork, compound, segmentation, clocks, portraits, intartia and puzzles. 52 patterns in all, some of which are Christmas projects.

It includes a very good section titled Scroll Saw Basics, too. Attaching/removing patterns, blade entry holes, blade tension, squaring the table plus general tips like sanding and stack cutting. Types/uses of scroll saw blades is also addressed.

Cover price is $7.99 USD. Newbies looking for good starter patterns should consider purchasing it.

Thanks for the info MikeDingas I ordered a copy from Fox Publishing, as we don't have a news stand around here.

Isn't that the one that is free with a 2 year subscription? Got that one and it is terrific.

Diane, I think you're correct. I generally limit subscriptions to one year so I miss that opportunity.
