| fox sighting Bob D. I've been looking for the fox in the SSW&C #28 and I've covered that thing from cover to cover a couple of times with no luck. Is the fox ever put in the pull out patterns because that's the only place I haven't looked. I really didn't think it would be there just because it's a pattern. My wife gets a magazine that has a hidden toothpick and I've never failed to find it but this fox is driving me nuts. I'm new to the SSW&C mag and I believe that there is supposed to be a fox hidden somewhere. I'll keep looking until someone tells me it isn't there. Thanks for your time. David |

My name is Walt Rollison and I live in the Smoky Mountain area, and I have been retired about eighteen years. Despite my retired status, I never seem to find time to search for the little fox. To be honest, I don't have much interest in the search either. SSW&C is a magazine I enjoy, although I probably do more general woodworking than scrolling. My wife frequently does the finishing work for me, no matter if I am scrolling, building dulcimers or making signs.
Best regards, Walt Rollison. |

| Hi Walt, I love the Smokey Mountains and I also love dulcimers. I'm a musician and I've always admired people who could play one. I've never had the chance to try it. I live in a little town called Lewisville N.C., just about 10miles west of Winston-Salem so I don't live so very far from the Smokeys. In fact, my wife and I are planning a trip soon to Pigean Forge. | Steve, Dave... I think we must be looking too hard. Even after Bob D's hint, I can't find the little sucker. I too used to get a magazine (Reminisce) that hid 1 or 2 needles that were basicall just a line with a hole in the end. As much as a staright line would seem to be hard as the devil to find, I usually never had any trouble finding the little sucker. This fox must run around in our mags and hide at a different spot every time we go looking.... ![011[1]](http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/images/smilies/011[1].gif)
