Default Shannon's Editorial in Woodcarving

Shannon, I was in AC Moore the other day and saw your Woodcarving magazine. They only carry that one, not SSWC, why I don't know, anyway, I wanted to reply to your editorial in here. The reason I picked it up even though I don't carve? Was the cover! Just what your editorial was about. I saw the other cover you were going to use, and I may have picked it up just because I am interested in woodworking, but I DID pick it up only because of the cover. My eye was drawn to the caraousel horse and all the colors and I picked it up without looking at the title first. Just wanted to give you my two cents worth!

Betty

Wow! Very interesting. (Can you tell I don't frequent the boards very often...) Sorry for the delayed reply.

So now that you've picked up a copy - any chance of picking up a carving knife? I just loved the stylized grizzly - that one is on my to do list. I must admit, many of the projects are far beyond my skill level, but I think I could do a decent job with that little bear.
