| Spring is around the corner Took these at work yesterday.
It was pouring rain, but then it always does that here on the Wet Coast.

| Flowers in February - you're making me nostalgic for England, Carl.
Actually I usually had first crocuses earlier than this - and snowdrops in January sometimes ..
It'll have to warm up quite a bit here before anything other than icicles grow ...

| Diane, that is the way it looks here and we are suppose to get more this weekend. But the sun is shinning right now.

| We have not seen the sun in many days. Lots of snow and horrible winds. I got stuck in my driveway yesterday coming home. Hopefully I can plow my way out today. Hubby is gone to the city as he does snow removal there. He will be away for at least another 3 days. Sidewalks and streets must be cleaned. Of course I am knee deep in the stuff and will not get cleaned until he comes back home. I hate winter. Snow drifts are bad.
I have my valentine roses on the kitchen table to keep me company.

| Very beautiful flowers Carl. It is raining here today and snow in the mountains for the skiers. Thats the way I like it. We are supposed to have nice weather for the weekend though. It will be a little while before we see the flowers, but at least the coldest part of the winter is past us and we can look forward to better weather.

| Well if it IS around the corner ... it's playing "hide and seek" here. I am so ready for spring and all that comes with it.
I was going to head off to the "big city" nearest to me today, but NO! once again my plans are shot because of snow squalls and accidents, and highways closed.
I am grateful though, I wasn't on the highway before I found out. LOL
Take care

| Our spring should arrive in about 2 1/2 to 3 more months, then all Alaskans will break out their shorts and blind one another with their pasty skin. |

| I look at it this way. The couple weeks is pay back from Mother Nature ![000[1]](http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/images/smilies/000[1].gif) Most of us in the eastern US and Canada have had a nice mild winter up to now. This is Mother Natures way to remind us she is still the one in charge. I just can't figure out whay she has to be so cranky (LOL). |

| I am very jealous of the flowers out already! I used to live in Squamish BC and miss not having any snow. Where I am now it is nearly waist deep in my front yard and my son has made some really big sliding hills in the driveway from the snow plow! What a difference in the weather! At the rate we're going I'm going to have snow im my yard until August!!!
