I think it is a long way to spring around here, it is snowing again, they say 2" to 4" more.

I can hardly wait.We live a hours drive west of Ottawa it has been cold for the better part of Feb.When we look out our kitchen window we see a pool covered in snow.It won't be long and I will be opening it for the year.Bring on the hot humid weather. It's better than snow in my books.

I don't really mind the snow. The forklifts can't get around the yard in it and if they can't move the finished product from the production area, production gets shut down. Lost three days last week to the snow and the whole week before due to frozen water lines.

This is the first time in weeks that we are waking up to warmer temps than Anchorage Alaska. Recently, I've seen it warmer in Anchorage than in Missouri, where my brother lives. It's been a strange winter. As far as spring being around the corner, it's an awful wide corner. However, we are suppose to get above freezing this week. This will be a real treat. The lakes just 120 miles north of us, have 28 - 30 inches of ice on them. That's thick ice.

Aren't you glad about global warming. Think how cold it would be without it.
