Default It's so cold that ...

It’s so cold that… chickens are rushing into Kentucky Fried Chicken and begging to use the pressure cooker!

It’s so cold that… the squirrels in the park are throwing themselves at an electric fence!

It’s so cold that… Starbucks are serving coffee on a stick!

It’s so cold that… when the cows get milked they give out ice cream!

It’s so cold that… we pulled everything out of the freezer and huddled inside it to warm up!

It’s so cold that… we won’t need to do spring clean the house – we’ll just defrosted it!

It’s so cold that… kids' grades seemed to be improving at school - when you apply the wind chill factor, a 57% looks like 93%!

It’s so cold that… firemen can’t get to burning buildings because of the crowds of people just want to "hang out" somewhere warm!

yes sir, your not kidding. Sunday morning I couldn't get the padlock off the gate at work. Key wouldn't turn in the hole, finally I bent the key, while it was freezing cold and blizzarding out. Had to take my tow chain out and hook it on to the lock, then drive away! Then my tractor wouldn't start. We have 26 tractors, and 18 wouldn't start on monday morning. School was also closed monday due to the cold temp.

It's cold enough my diesel work van won't start. And it's been plugged in since Friday. LOL Cheap way to get out of going to work ... unfortunately, work is piling up! I feel your pain Jeff.

I have to apologize to all of you suffering in the cold.

I was complaining this past weekend because it was too cold and windy to go hiking. It was in the 40s.

There's only one response to that ...

Hey if it was in the 40s you'd see Canadians in shorts ...

It was so cold yesterday (and today) that my daughter's hair froze while waiting for the bus! Not to mention the school felt so compelled to have a fire drill at 9am and it was only 11° outside! Of course, coats were not optional.

If that's not one of the dumbest things I've heard. Although, the building I work in tends to have fire drills in the middle of the summer on the hotest, most humid day of the summer. Idiots.

That was smart. Eleven degrees would feel pretty good to me right now. We went 60 some hours straight without getting above zero. It's actually a whole 1 degree here right now. A couple mornings ago the windchill was -40. Spring isn't far away now.

BTW, where did you come up with the degree symbol?

Mike, try holding down the Alt key and typing 0186.

No, it's Alt+0176 but the numbers MUST be typed on the keypad otherwise it won't work.
