Default Bandsaw Boxes

I got a bandsaw for Christmas and decided to do a few bandsaw boxes to give it a run around the park. I'll mostly use it for resawing wood, but since the wife saw these boxes, she's already put in an order for 3 more!

These are from common Western Red Cedar. They were sanded up to 400 grit, then finished with the Sam Maloof method (4 coats of a poly/oil mix and 2 of a poly/wax mix).

Very nicely done Unix and I agree with Daryl over the variety of colours. Really makes those boxes pop.

Well done and nice choice of wood. I've yet to try making any boxes but they are on my list. Thanks for sharing.

I've seen those before and I think they are great looking. You have done a very nice job on these.

Those look great! I have some chunks of wood I want to make into boxes - just need some time and a little instructions.

Very nice. I have had a band saw for years but have never tried making boxes. I guess that is something else I will have to try now that I have upgraded my band saw.
