Default Pyrography

Ok, here it is my first attempt at Pyrography. I hope to incorporate this into my scrollwork.
It is a 9 by 6 inch oval. I think it is a slab of basswood that I found in a beginners wood burning kit that my wife bought me a few years ago.
I bought myself a complete set from Colewood, pens, power supply in a nice wooden box.
This could also be very addictive. The pattern came with the wood and I transferred it using carbon paper. I sure like gluing the pattern on better than tracing it. That is tedious.

Great detail Rolf, I totally agree it is so much easier just applying the paper pattern than trying to trace. I would miss tracing alot and have to try and replace and re-trace. Steve

That is very nice. I did a little pyrography many years ago when my parents gave me a set. I may have to try it again sometime.

Yes Bill, that is why I always use dull blades when scrolling.
