Default I just need to vent

Today, I started out a bit depressed. I had been reading the posts from the people who have started receiving their ornaments. It was very depressing. Although I had received one from Minnesota Scroller, Canadian Scroller had already received 4 and that bummed me out.

BUT; Lo and behold Christmas has arrived, when I got home from work my mail box was bursting. Three beeee-u-ti-ful little packages, One from NavySawyer, One from Little Flower and One from Dusty Buffalo.

Did I tear them open in anticipation? NO, I savored the moment, Grapped a beer, sat calmly at the table and carefully cut the packages open. As I extracted each ornament, my smile got wider. They are beautiful and I can't wait for the rest to arrive.

Little Flower, thank you for the little added gift, and might I add he his a very good lookin hubby.

This really is fun.

Marsha... Marsha... Marsha,

Be patient, if you received all the ornaments at once... what would there be to look forward too?

(At least that is my excuse for not having mine out yet. Hopefully they get mailed out next week.)

Talking of venting, I only received the latest copy of SSW&C today.

I'm grateful it's arrived earlier than expected, but frustrated that I've got so little time to make some of the projects before Christmas.

Grizz, I don't have mine out yet either, But I'm happy other swappers are so efficient and mailing theirs out. We decided to redecorate our dining room, we had a leak in the roof, and had to put up a new ceiling so it's meant new paint and window treatments, and the list goes on and on, but this is my excuse. Hopefully mine will go out in the next week or so. The rest of you just keep them ornaments coming.

I popped the last two in the mail on Wednesday. They are going out to TWO very special people who have been extremely patient with me and a promise to put other things in the mail for them a long long time ago.

I did send them airmail so they should be there early next week.
It is interesting to see the difference in postage from all over the world.
I was going to send Littel Flower hers by Express post until I found out they wanted over $80 to get it there in 5 days. I thought that was a little steep so we had to settle for airmail. I wonder what it would be for overnight service

I regularly send stuff Standard Ground to Canada via UPS its not to bad as price goes and it gets there in reasonable time, I ship as far as Alberta and I think maybe BC also
