Default It was fun being a baby boomer - until now.

Some of the artists of the 60s are revising their hits with new
lyrics to accommodate aging baby boomers.

They include:

Herman's Hermits -- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker

The Bee Gees -- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip

Bobby Darin -- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash

Ringo Starr -- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends

Roberta Flack --The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face

Johnny Nash -- I Can't See Clearly Now

Paul Simon -- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver

The Commodores -- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom

Marvin Gaye -- Heard It Through the Grape Nuts

Leo Sayer -- You Make Me Feel Like Napping

The Temptations -- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone

Abba -- Denture Queen

Tony Orlando -- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall

Helen Reddy -- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore

Willie Nelson -- On the Commode Again

LOL.

I watched an episode of 'Green Acres' on the tube the other day, and all the commercials were for geriatric products aimed at boomers. Depressing!

How depressing to know I fit every single one of the list-- but hey -- I am a old woman who gets by being a pervert just cause I am old- true I am harmless but I can have a ball and use my age for having fun. snicker snicker-- and who says being old has to mean we lost it- we have it , we just don't know where we put it .
Love ya and bunches of wet slobbers and big bear hugs-- mind if I pinch a little? lol

Not quite a baby boomer, but I'm feeling inspired to make a compilation CD .

And their Alzheimer's classic, She loves you yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah....

I'm at the tail end of the boomer gang and most of those already fit me.

It's a sad, sad day.
