Default Shades of white

Between the snow topic and the awesome paper waterfall Kevin posted, I thought I could meet half way and send a picture created by a local artist.
The picture is white, no colors were used, no black, no pens crayons or paints.

As Michael Barrymore might have said, "It looks allwhite to me" .

(Brits might find the allusion to Michael Barrymore amusing. The rest of you will think, "Gill's flipped... again ".)

What's it made out of, Carl? Paper? And is there a lot of embossing on it?

Gill

It is paper.
I do not know the artists name.
I work out of City Hall and the front lobby is an art gallery that changes on a regular basis.

I have always liked paper sculpture but I really found this to be a masterpiece. Even the rope looked braided. I think the whole thing was less than 18 inches wide.
It was in a glass case I snapped the picture without a flash, thank goodness.
The embossing is very deep and rich. I will see if I can find out who did it.
